SB2C Helldiver, BuNo. 83589 is airworthy and owned by the West Texas Wing of  Commemorative Air Force in Graham, Texas. It is a  late-production SB2C-5 built in 1945. Currently, 83589 is the only flyable Helldiver in the worlk, and is a frequent star in air shows. It dad an emergency landing that caused extensive damage after an engine failure, in 1982. CAF finished the restoration to flying condition in 1988.
